No Purpose Rant

About a week ago, we were travelling back from Bulgaria with the team. For those that do not know, I play for a hockey team here in Greece. Namely, Aris Thessaloniki. We went to Bulgaria to practice, given that there are absolutely zero ice rinks in my home town. Practice, hockey and the rest are not something I want to talk about right now however... that's something of a back story.

For a couple of days now I've been listening to this tune. For some reason it surfaced long lost memories. Oh well... lyrics follow.

I started writing an article, unpublished as of yet and I will probably never release it. It was meant as an exercise on self reflection. However, here is a small excerpt from that exercise. "In sum, I am a ruled by my own emotions. Dealing with that has never been easy yet I make no apologies or excuses for it. For what reason are we here, but to experience our emotions to their full intensity? I am furious when I am angry, I am passionate when I am in love. Anger, compassion, hate,  romance, love, passion... everything signifies life.... and I love it. I believe, that it matters not if those emotions find response. What matters is that we allow for them to be expressed. For me life is passion. Through its expression we experience life. If we allow it to sit dormant, then we are not stirring the cauldron of life and all its ingredients go straight to the bottom." That, my friends could be my new years resolution.
